WORK HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY
At Ridleys SA, we believe that the well-being of people employed at work, or people affected by our work, is a priority and must be considered during all work performed on our behalf, therefore we work towards a ‘zero-harm’ culture.
We are committed to workplace health and safety (WHS) and recognise the legal responsibilities under WHS legislation, statutory requirements, codes, standards and guidelines to provide a safe and healthy work environment.
People are our most important asset and WHS is everyone’s responsibility.
- Provide a safe and healthy workplace and working conditions for all, including workers, contractors, customers and visitors
- Ensure WHS principles are included in all planning and work activities
- Consult with workers and other parties as part of the decision-making process to enhance the effectiveness of procedures
- Provide on-going education and training to all of our workers to enable them to work safely
- Providing adequate resources to aid workers in fulfilling their responsibilities and ensure WHS is a central part of the organisation
- Encourage workers and sub-contractors to identify and control risks in the workplace
- Monitor and review the elimination or control of potential risks
- Conduct investigations into all reported incidents and ensure lessons are learnt within the organisation
- Ensure effective injury management and rehabilitation is provided to all workers
- Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of the WHS system in place
- The commitment of all persons, irrespective of their position, to achieving the policy objectives
- Planning work activities with due consideration given to WHS
- Undertaking the risk management process in an effective manner
- Promoting communication between workers and sub-contractors.
We are committed to fulfilling the objectives of this policy and expect the same of all workers and sub-contractors working on our behalf.
QUALITY POLICY
Ridleys SA is committed to providing a quality product and professional customer service to ensure our customer’s expectations and brief are met consistently. Ridleys SA encourage a quality culture at all levels of the company, where workers have a sense of pride and responsibility in satisfying our customer’s needs.
Ridleys SA adopt industry best practices to continuously improve in every area of design, manufacture and installation of road traffic, commercial and industrial signage and displays.
Ridleys SA will ensure every worker is aware and trained in their responsibilities and the quality expectations of the company. Workers will be made aware of the relevance and importance of their activities and how Ridleys SA’s quality policy and procedures are to be applied and maintained within their work activity area.
Ridleys SA will make available appropriate resources to ensure compliance with quality policies and procedures and will seek to adopt uniform best practices to assist in eliminating or reducing non-compliance. Adoption of best practices will also assist in the achievement of internal efficiencies and customer satisfaction
Ridleys SA has established a Quality Management System including activities and procedures that are continually reviewed and effectively implemented.
This system relates to all aspects of quality including:
- Training and education
- Review of workplace design and standard work methods
- Changes to work methods and practices including those associated with technological change
- Quality rules
- Continuous improvement
- Customer orders
- Purchasing and inspecting suppliers
- Selection and evaluation of suppliers
- Document and data control
- Reporting and recording of non-conformances and unsatisfactory work
- Provision of information to management and workers
- Comply with relevant legislation, regulations and industry best practice
- Develop, implement and maintain quality processes to produce a level of product to a consistent standard of quality and at competitive cost
- Foster good relationships with clients by effectively communicating and seeking feedback
- Continually improve the effectiveness of the Quality Management System
- Document and measure quality objectives and targets through customer feedback and, when required, internally audit and review
- Deliver signage in accordance with the specifications and requirements of our clients
- Encourage workers to constantly aim to improve the overall quality of the company and its products and services
- Endeavour to supply products that are manufactured to high standards utilising environmentally friendly processes and materials, where possible
- Promote effective communication with all workers and ensure continual training requirements are met
- Provide all workers adequate information and training to ensure all products are produced to a consistent standard of quality
- The commitment of all workers, irrespective of their position, to achieving the policy objectives

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
Ridleys SA is committed to operating in an environmentally sustainable manner in order to minimise the company’s impact on the environment. Ridleys SA encourages environmental considerations to be factored into all levels of the company.
Ridleys SA adopt industry best practices to continuously improve in every area of design, manufacture and installation of road traffic, commercial and industrial signage and displays.
Ridleys SA will ensure every worker is aware and trained in their responsibilities and the environmental expectations of the company. Workers will be made aware of the relevance and importance of their activities and how Ridleys SA’s environmental policy and procedures are to be applied and maintained within their work activity area in order to reduce pollution and the company’s impact on the environment.
Ridleys SA will make available appropriate resources to ensure compliance with environmental policies and procedures and will seek to adopt uniform best practices to assist in eliminating or reducing non-compliance. Adoption of best practices will also assist in the achievement of internal efficiencies, reduction of waste and

- Develop, implement and maintain environmental processes to reduce the company’s environmental impact
- Continually improve the effectiveness of the company’s environmental sustainability
- Document and measure environmental objectives and targets through internal assessment and, when required, internally audit and review
- Encourage workers to constantly aim to improve the overall environmental sustainability of the company and its products and services
- Endeavour to supply products that are manufactured in a way that reduces impact on the environment
